After a few weeks (it took a little longer than I expected), Predator 1.1.0 is here.

This is a major update, we have packed in a shit load of new features, as well as various server clustering capabilities.

Changelog for Predator 1.1.0

- Sponsor System
- Create main sponsor sites, including ability to store your login username and password
- Create child sponsor sites
- Create banner and HTML advertisements, assigned to your child sites
- Ability to select a sponsor when adding a video
- Advertisements on video pages, relative to the sponsor selected for that video
- Create unlimited banner links, assigned to a specific sponsor
- Feed Import System
- Unlimited RSS feeds can be added via the admin cp
- Bulk import a sites content via their RSS feed
- Automatic content importation
- Predator will automatically add content from your trade partners, depending on admin defined settings. Allows you to take a holiday and not worry about your site being updated, since Predator will plug whoever is owed the most hits
- Configure import order (date ascending, descending)
- Configure selection (random, highest ratio)
- Configure category (random, admin defined)
- Configure tags (admin defined, "guess" - predator will attempt to guess the tags)
- GeoIP System
- Users are assigned a country into their session
- Ability to flag countries - show different content, and advertisements from the sponsor system depending on the users country of origin
- Re-written traffic tracker
- Ability to see todays incoming hits (user ip, country, entering url, full referring url, time)
- Ability to see todays outgoing hits (user ip, country, original full referring url, full exit url, fime)
- Tracks both raw and unique traffic data, providing the admin with much more detailed statistics.
- Ratio is calculated on uniques and uniques only. This prevents any confusion amongst the webmaster community with sites trading on raw, sites trading on uniques, and sites trading on god knows what lol
- Productivity System
- See each sites productivity, including their percentage of sponsor system banner advertisements clicked, and the percentage of users who clicked a plug.
- Combined with GeoIP, allows you to tell which sites are sending users from different countries, so its easier to see which countries are sending you benificial traffic
- Admin Search Engine
- New powerful admin search engines, allows you to easily find users, sites and plugs from the top of your admin panel. Supports one word, phrases, or part words.
- Server Clustering Support
- Ability to add a dedicated thumbnail server
- Ability to add a dedicated video / streaming server
- Ability to add a dedicated memcache server
- Other Changes
- Added "remember me" box to webmaster and admin panel, based on user feedback. Logout link also added.
- Advanced plugsubmitter support via http api.
- Re-written session engine, removed MySQL support due to the fact that no one used it.
- "Full Edit" box for template system - allows a fullscreen editor when modifying templates.
- Pagination moved into templates. Reduces hassle when updating, or installing Predator.
- Ability to control the types of content listed on index etc. via admin panel (blogs, plugs, videos)
- Blog system now has WYSIWYG editor for both short description and full article, allowing HTML to be posted everywhere on the blog system (which makes it more of a fully functioning blog system)
- Query caching (with support for a memcache server) allows you to greatly reduce SQL overhead
- Checks on titles / descriptions to prevent foreign (non-english) characters from being submitted accidentally
- Bug Fixes
- Fixed pagination issue with SEO urls on filter controller.
- Fixed character encoding bug when editing templates in the admin panel

A lot of work has went into this release, and aims to address many of the feature requests owners, and webmasters have been suggesting. There are many many more features that will come in future versions of Predator, so you can expect a changelog as big, if not bigger, in 1.2.0+.

Predator has only been out for about 3 months, and I haven't been selling it for almost a month now to focus on 1.1.0.

This version of Predator should definately have the capability to run even larger sites due to server clustering support, and memcache / query caching, and contains many new features which should aid in the management and running of your site(s).

Current customers can expect an update pack within a few days (as there are MANY different database changes)

All new customers can purchase predator, by emailing me predatorcms [at] googlemail.com.

Anyone who has contacted in the past, and is still waiting, please hit me up with a fresh email so that I can organise my list of backlogged customers.

Thanks
